| Join Friends for a half-day Summer Chess Camp led by Chess Master Scott Massey
Ages 7 and up
Monday-Friday 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Price: $250/week
Session 1 - July 7-11 Session 2 - July 14-18 Session 3 - July 21-25
Location: Casa Colombo Civic Center 189 Main st., Millburn. NJ 07041
Camp Components:
- 1 hour of group lessons led by Scott Massy.
- 1 hour of instruction in tactics.
- 1 hour of tournament game play with clock.
The camp is open to students ages 7 and up at the following levels:
- Beginner: Some exposure to chess is required and should be able to write chess.
- Intermediate
- Advanced
Class level will be determined on the first day of the camp.
Registration and payments may be done online or in person during drop-in chess classes at the Millburn Library during the months of May and June.
If paying by check, please make checks payable to “Friends of the Millburn Library” and fill out a paper registration form. Checks may be handed to Scott Massey directly along with the completed form during Drop-in Chess classes (1pm - 4 pm) on Saturdays at millburn library no later than Saturday, June 28, 2025.
