What do you stand to gain?

One of our employees, Brittany shares her experience from a shadow day:

"Shadowing a civil engineer for two weeks changed my whole career path. As an 18-year-old applying to college, I romanticized becoming an architect and designing beautiful buildings and interiors. However, after mistakenly being placed in a civil engineering mini-internship instead of an architectural one, I realized that was my calling. I loved the comradery, problem-solving, and boots-on-the-ground feel of civil engineering. It was so neat to see civil engineering projects evolve from raw land to public roads, utilities, and infrastructure we take for granted every day." - Brittany B.
