Celebrate Chattanooga is seeking to pay tribute to Chattanooga's African American community and celebrate Black History by capturing stories in its new history book "Celebrate Chattanooga African Americans". Designed to empower education, leadership, entrepreneurship and mentorship like the "Biography and Achievements of The Colored Citizens of Chattanooga" --Chattanooga's 1st Black History book by J. Bliss White in 1904, 120 years ago, this multimedia commemorative book, in print and eBook formats, aims to excite readers to learn from the leaders, discover their secrets to success, and elevate children to where they can see what they can be, by embracing the idea "if they can see, then they can be it". While celebrating the 185th anniversary of Chattanooga, TN for the second decade since 2014, the book will also make its debut February 2025, in honor of Black History Month; plus National Black Business Month, and the Juneteenth Holiday, and all those to come! Commemorate the Past! Celebrate the Present! Cultivate the Future!
