| In consideration of being a participant in the Naples Christmas in July Boat Parade activities and events, I hereby agree to the following.
1. I hereby submit this registration for entrance in the 2025 Naples, Maine Christmas in July Boat Parade a Naples, Maine town sponsored event arranged by Joanne Jordan Events and supported by its sponsors.
2. It is understood that this boat parade is entered at my own risk.
3. I will comply with the rules and regulations of operating a watercraft in the State of Maine and my boat will be equipped with all required safety equipment, including but not limited to, working running lights, a horn or whistle, a USCG-approved throwable device, and a PFD for each person on board.
4. I release and discharge Joanne Jordan, the Town of Naples, event volunteers and sponsors, owners, and operators of docks and marinas, and any other person and all other organizations endorsing or involved in their activities (released parties) from any and all actions, claims and demands, for, upon, or for reason of any damage, loss or injury or death to my person or property, which may be directly or indirectly sustained during the course of or as a result of participating in the event, regardless of the cause of such accident or injury, including the negligence of the released parties.
5. 4. It is understood that this release shall be binding upon myself, my assigns, my personal representatives, and my heirs.
6. I/We understand that photographs and videos may be taken of my boat and participants on my boat during my participation in this event. I hereby give my permission to Joanne Jordan Events, The Town of Naples, and any media to use said photographs and video in promotional activities, social media, and news reporting. |
