Have You Laughed Today?

According to Charlie Chaplain, “A day without laughter is a day wasted.” In an attempt to make every day count, this interactive laughter presentation is going to make the most of every minute. Participants will learn:

  • The science behind smiling and laughing for better overall health
  • Simple tips and tools to use for self-care, stress-management, and exercise, no matter what their mobility level
  • How laughter can shift everyday interactions with others for a more positivity and connection

We’ll start with Clapping, Smile-Ups and Welcome Laughter. We’ll move into Laughter Breaths and practice playing with laughter as it moves inside our mouths. We’ll learn a new kind of joke, guaranteed to get a boisterous laugh every time, without fail! Even if you don’t have a sense of humor! We’ll plant a giggle garden, shower with laughter and continue exploring with a variety of laughter games designed to maximize the health benefits.

In between games, the science behind the health benefits will be revealed. At the end of this engaging laughter session, we’ll follow up with some Q&A and you’ll leave feeling uplifted and ready to share your new laughter smarts with everyone!

You won’t believe the transformation that can happen in one short session. It’s definitely true that “when you laugh, shift happens.”

Please note: registering through the event page for the event is just STEP ONE of a TWO-STEP Registration Process.

Step Two: The Zoom link contained on the confirmation or in the confirmation email will take you to a second page, which is the registration process for our Zoom Virtual Conference Platform which will ask you to re-enter your name and email to confirm. That second registration will generate a meeting invitation email which contains your UNIQUE MEETING LINK AND PASSCODE that will allow you to log-in to the meeting/call/workshop at the appointed time.

Yes, we realize that a double registration process can be a bit frustrating, however this addition step is to protect our virtual meeting from uninvited guests gaining access to the online classroom and causing any type of nuisance or disruption.

Thank you for your patience with this additional SHIFT safety process and protocol.

In the event that SHIFT cancels a program, you’ll receive a refund of your registration payment.

SHIFT will not issue credits or refunds in the following circumstances:

  • You cancel your registration
  • You register but do not attend
  • You attend but leave early
  • You do not attend all sessions of a multi-session course
