Safety

PCL’s reopening prioritizes staff and community safety, and incorporates the recommendations of the CDC, New York State, and Monroe County Department of Health. Additional hours and services will be gradually phased in. Check back for updates to hours, services, and guidelines.

  • Plan your visit and limit your time in the library. Building capacity will be limited.
  • Enter and exit through the parking lot entrance.
  • Face coverings must be worn at all times.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the library. We strongly encourage using hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the library, and before and after touching any shared objects.
  • Follow markers on the floor and signs throughout the building to maintain appropriate social and physical distance from other patrons and library staff.
  • Limit the items you touch within the library to only those you intend to check out.
  • Materials cannot be returned inside the library. Continue to use the outside book drop.

Digital Resources

Many of our digital resources require a library card. If you don't have a library card, eCards can be issued online. Help a friend out: If you know someone who does not have a library card, tell them about eCards so they can access our digital resources, too!

As always, don't forget to find us on Facebook and Instagram! We love when you like and share our posts.

Virtual Programming for All Ages
