Truth and Reconciliation Gathering

We invite you to join us for our second annual Truth and Reconciliation Gathering.

Healing and reconciliation are rooted in Christ's call to repentance, reconciliation, and peace with everyone. These virtues are building blocks as Siloam continues moving towards housing-focused care.

Once again, we welcome you as we learn, unlearn, and reflect on how to further our commitment to truth and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples. This Gathering is an opportunity to learn how to approach reconciliation and put it into action in a Christian context.

  • Elder Florence Paynter - Understanding the Treaties and its Framework for Reconciliation
  • Elder David Daniels - The Ojibway Seven Sacred Laws and Christianity
  • Tobi Jolly, Member of Siloam Mission's Board - What would Jesus do in response to the 231 Calls? 
  • Panel Presentation on Reconcili-ACTION - Unpacking what we heard and putting it into practice
