| Are you ready for the summer? Join Our Waitlist for 2026 Loving Our Cities Freedom School! The Freedom School operated by Loving Our Cities serves as a FREE academic enrichment program for rising 3rd-8th graders currently performing at or near grade level. The six-week program provides enriching experiences to encourage a love of learning and position students for academic success in the classroom and beyond. Dates: Weekdays, July 6th – August 14th Time: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Location: 274 Delsea Dr, Sewell, NJ, 08080 New Jersey-certified and approved by the Children’s Defense Fund, our program continues the rich legacy of Freedom Schools originating from the Mississippi Freedom Summer Project of 1964, which sought to secure justice and voting rights for historically marginalized communities and provide safe havens for educational experiences not offered in public schools. Completion of this form serves a request to join our waitlist, but does not guarantee enrollment. Program capacity is capped at 30 scholars. This application is now open for our waitlist only.
