Medication Assisted Treatment: A Guide for Clinical Providers

An overview of the current opiate use and overdose trends in Ohio that demonstrates the need for and explains the use of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to combat Opiate Use Disorder. Participants will receive education about the pharmacology of opioid replacement medications, the federal guidelines of operation of Opiate Treatment Programs, and the role of clinical providers working with patients who are utilizing MAT.

Approved for 3 Continuing Education Credits with the CSWMFT Board and the Nursing Board with reciprocity.
