Objectives:

1. Explain the role of the nervous system in stress, trauma, and emotional regulation using neuroscience and polyvagal-informed principles.
2. Demonstrate practical mind-body interventions, including Tapping, Havening Techniques®, and breathwork as somatic regulation strategies to support the well-being of both yourself and the people you serve.
3. Apply trauma-informed, evidence-informed regulation techniques to enhance therapeutic presence, reduce compassion fatigue, and promote resilience in clinical practice.

Join our upcoming workshop exploring body-centered approaches to stress management. Learn simple, free, in-the-moment self-help techniques designed to support relaxation, grounding, and calming our nerves, to help yourselves, and to share with the people you serve.

In these workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the basics and experience several sensory-based, somatic tools such as Tapping, Havening®, Breathwork, Stretching …and more. We strive to offer all practices in a trauma-sensitive way. No prior experience or training is required.

About the Trainer

Mitsuko Ito is a trauma-informed practitioner, educator, and workshop speaker specializing in mind-body approaches that promote emotional regulation, stress reduction, and resilience. Integrating Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping), Havening Techniques®, breathwork, and somatic education. She provides helper with practical, evidence-informed tools that complement established therapeutic approaches.
