Sports betting is growing rapidly and so are the risks. Approximately 27% of U.S. adults have an active online sports betting account, and gross gaming revenue has reached $16.96 billion (Track360). Even as Americans increasingly say legal sports betting is bad for society (Pew Research Center, October 1, 2025), many still see it as harmless entertainment. Concerns continue to rise among youth, young adults, student and professional athletes, women, and men of color, who may face increased risk for harmful betting behaviors.

Join this upcoming webinar to examine current trends in sports betting, challenge common misconceptions, and learn prevention strategies that can make a meaningful impact. Participants will leave with practical approaches to increase public awareness of lower-risk betting and strengthen connections to problem gambling care resources.

Anyone involved in problem gambling prevention or any other prevention or behavioral health field is more than welcome to attend. If you would like, feel free to share this flyer with your friends or colleagues who may be interested in attending.
