Join us in charming Auburn to discuss The Boys in the Boat, authored by Daniel James Brown (ISBN 978-0143125471), and the film adaptation directed by George Clooney.

This nonfiction narrative recounts the inspiring story of a group of working-class Americans who challenged the privileged elite to qualify for the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.

We'll start with coffee and pastries before diving into a two-hour book conversation. After a catered lunch, we'll watch and discuss the 2023 film adaptation.
