Objectives: 1- Describe the roots of harm reduction and its ties to the War on Drugs, including how criminalization and abstinence-only models affect youth safety and engagement. 2- Apply harm reduction principles to youth service scenarios and examine systemic barriers in traditional substance use disorder treatment. 3-Develop youth-centered, nonjudgmental strategies for collaborative conversations about substance use.
