Kathy Kane joined the CAP Sonoma team in 2010 as a volunteer and became an employee in 2012, developing community oral health programs. She advanced to Chief Program Officer, overseeing all programs and working closely with leadership to support the organization's vision. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science from Loma Linda University and an RDHAP certificate from the University of the Pacific. For 15 years, she ran her own business, providing dental hygiene care to underserved populations, consulting, and speaking to dental professionals. A former President of the CA Dental Hygienists’ Association, Kathy has also contributed as a compliance consultant, subject matter expert for the CA Dental Hygiene Board, and curriculum author. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring Sonoma County's food and wine with her friends and daughter.
