This 4-hour workshop is set in the breathtaking Willamette Narrows, where ancient rock formations and narrow channels make for an unforgettable paddling experience. You’ll gain hands-on instruction in basic river navigation, current reading, and intermediate boat handling techniques.


💡 You’ll Learn:

✅ How to safely navigate moving water (Class I-II)

✅ Ferrying, eddy turns, and peel-outs

✅ Paddling strategies for control in current

✅ Group communication and river safety

✅ River stewardship practices in action


This is where flatwater meets flow — and where your paddling skills really come alive! All gear is provided, including boats, paddles, and PFDs. Please dress for the weather, and bring your lunch, water, sunscreen, and an adventurous mindset!
