It’s that time of year where we start to dream about that most majestic of tiny endangered plants, Texas Prairie Dawn (Hymenoxys texana). We will be counting those tiny yellow Q-tips on Warren Ranch and Jack Road South Preserve on March 14 & 15. Physical Requirements: Bending, kneeling, sitting on the ground.
What to wear: Closed-toe boots, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat.
What to bring: Water bottle, water/snacks, bug spray, sunscreen. Knee pads or individual garden kneeling pads are helpful. |
