Free Virtual Operations & Supply Chain Student Night Fall 2024

This is a joint meeting between ASCM/APICS Massachusetts Minuteman (MM), Northern New England, and New Haven Chapters, and ASQ New Haven. to provide high quality and informative student nights for many years. This is an interactive experience with games and talks from recent graduates and students that will inspire students with relatable information that they can use to select majors, identify what career path they would like to pursue, and develop relationships with Industry professionals.

Non-students and supply chain industry professionals are welcome to attend!

6:00 PM – 6:20 PM

  • Welcome by Moderator – Maggie Walenty, CPIM, ASCM MM Director of Student Membership, Senior Manager Global Planning and Procurement, Repligen Corporation
  • Welcome by ASCM MM Chapter President – Ken Glasser, CPIM, C.P.M., Global Contracts Manager, Axcelis Technologies
  • E&R Announcements – Art Harvey, CPIM Master Instructor, Co-Director of E&R, ASCM MM [Education & Research], and a Commodity Specialist at Zoll Medical
  • Upcoming Programs – Ken Glasser, CPIM, C.P.M., Director of Programs & President, ASCM MM, = Upcoming joint programs with fellow chapters participating (New Haven, Northern New England, & ASQ New Haven). And Ken will also introduce the Presidents of each of these chapters (2 minutes each), to discuss their programs & offerings.

7:05 PM – 7:15 PM – Adam Arnold: My Experience as a Supply Chain Intern at Zoll Corporation

7:15 PM – 7:30 PM – Competition: Supply Chain "Guess the Role" Game with a $50.00 Prize for the Winner

7:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Wrap up and Networking 


Expected attendees will be from the following universities (others are welcome):

Bentley University, Bryant University, Bridgewater State University, Merrimack College, Quinnipiac University, Lasell University, Northeastern University, University of Massachusetts Boston and Lowell, WPI, Salem State, Hult International Business School, and Western CT State.


This event is a great opportunity for students to earn some course extra credit for their attendance. They should inquire with their professors!

This is the first of two student meetings we hold each year. They are designed to provide an opportunity for students and faculty to network with professionals in diverse roles within the Operations Management fields.
