Lisa Flynn

University of Oulu, Finland 



Lisa Flynn, MSc MIS, is a Human Systems Engineer and PhD Candidate specializing in the intersection of cybersecurity and AI. Flynn’s work focuses on leveraging agentic AI to address advanced threats, including social engineering and deepfake technology. She has introduced methodologies like Holistic Operational Planning (HOP) and Strategic Collective Implementation Planning (SCIP), which integrate collective impact for socio-technical resilience. A recognized expert, Flynn has presented at global conferences and run experiments at DEF CON, showcasing AI’s role in cybersecurity. Her research emphasizes ethical AI adoption and actionable strategies to defend against evolving threats while advancing cybersecurity education and workforce development.
