Author Don Romesburg will discuss his account of the history of LGBTQ-inclusive k-12 history education in the United States, highlighting the battle to pass California's 2011 FAIR Education Act, the first statewide mandate related to the inclusion of LGBTQ+ history and a model for other states. |
