The Ireland 2025 Photo Tour

Come with us to experience Ireland like you've never seen it before! Join Joe Brady and Diane Bollen in a private motor coach as we explore the towns and landscape of southern Ireland for nine days. No big buses that can't get to those wonderful, out of the way places, no rushing, and the ability to make changes along the way when we come across something special. Our coach is all ours for the duration of the trip!

The itinerary has been fine tuned and updated over the years, so we know that this trip is exciting, relaxing and full of the beauty that is Ireland!

Galway, Ireland to Dublin, Ireland

Sep 23, 2025 02:30pm - Oct 01, 2025 11:00am

$595.00 - $895.00

For just $3895 per person (dbl occupancy), The Ireland September 2025 Photo Tour includes eight nights of accommodations, breakfast each day, entry fees to Cliffs of Moher, Guinness Storehouse, Hills of Tara Entrance, Book of Kells and Irish House Party, private motor coach and instruction for nine days. The package price does include one dinner (our final night "Irish House Party and Dinner Show"), but we will make arrangements and/or recommendations for dining at each stop we make.

This is a custom tour designed for both photographers and non-shooters alike. For the photographers in the group, we will have photo ops as we tour the beautiful towns and countryside. There will be plenty of time to be enjoyed with the magic of Ireland, and Joe and Diane will be available at any time to talk photography and offer as much inspiration and instruction as you like!

While the photographers spend some time each day capturing great images, our driver and guide will share their great knowledge and experience in each place we visit. We will have plenty of time for visiting local attractions, shopping and exploring.

The trip starts in Galway and finishes in Dublin and will of course make time to tour the Guinness Storehouse and enjoy a magical pint! As we have our own coach and driver, we may make adjustments to how long we stay in each place. We want to take advantage of great light for the best photography and be able to stop should a spectacular sight present itself!

We don't rush during this trip because we want you to get a full experience of Ireland. We spend two nights in Galway, three nights in Killarney, one night in Cork and finish with two nights in Dublin. Want to come in early and/or stay late? Let us know and we can help with arrangements!

Though we chase the light and weather for the best opportunities, here's our planned itinerary:

The trip will begin on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 in Galway, meeting in the Galway Harbour Hotel lobby at 3pm. We stay in the Harbour hotel (4- Star!) for 2 nights - just a short stroll from the beautiful walking zone in downtown Galway. We'll tour the city and then settle in for the evening.

On Wednesday we'll take a ride into the countryside through Connemara and visit Kylemore Abbey to photograph the wonderful settings and reflections along the lake. Along the way we'll stop for both photos and sightseeing.

On Thursday, September 25, we head south to Kerry via the charming seaside village of Doolin. We will also visit the beautiful Cliffs of Moher on the way. We'll stay in Killarney at the International Hotel Killarney (4 Star!) for three nights and use that as our base to head out each day for more sightseeing and photos. Killarney is also a beautiful town filled with great shops and restaurants so we make sure that there is plenty of time for taking it all in at your own pace. While in Killarney we'll head out each day and visit the Dingle Peninsula, The Ring of Kerry and more.

On Sunday the 28th we head over to Cork and stay at the Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel (3 Star, but get's a rating of 4.4 out of 5!) hotel for one night. We have stayed here on our last four trips and love both the hotel and the location. For one, it is right across the street from the Blarney Castle and its surrounding park. Even if you don't want to "kiss the rock", it is a wonderful place for photography and the grounds and castle are stunning. For those looking to do some shopping, the hotel is connected to the Blarney Woolen Mills (hence the name) which a huge, multi-story store filled with all manner of Irish Wool items. Diane and I always spend too much money there!

Monday brings us to Dublin for two nights. We stay at the Grand Canal Hotel (another 4-Star property!) that puts us close to popular places to visit including the famous Temple Bar. While in Dublin, we'll visit the Guinness Storehouse and Tour Trinity College with the amazing Book of Kells. We will also plan a trip out to Tara Hills, a Stone Age Site known as the Seat of the High Kings of Ireland!

We'll have a final night dinner and show at the "Irish House Party" Tuesday evening before finishing our tour the next morning on Monday, October 1st. Then we bid each other "farewell" or extend your trip if you like!

If you're passionate about photography and travel with a non-photographer partner, this is a trip where everyone gets what they desire! Plenty of photography and instruction for the photographer, plenty of touring, sightseeing and activities for everyone. If you're a single traveler, you'll also have a wonderful experience and private rooms are available.
