Ohio Faster HB99 8Hr Refresher July 30 (Brown Co./TDI)

Ohio HB99 requires 8 hours of recurring training each calendar year to remain authorized to carry a firearm in a school. This one day class has been approved by the Ohio Department of Public Safety and meets all requirements of HB99.

Ohio Schools eligible for $100 grants. Select "SAVE100" when registering. (While funds are available.)

Ohio HB99 requires 8 hours of recurring training each calendar year to remain authorized to carry a firearm in a school. This one day class has been approved by the Ohio Department of Public Safety and meets all requirements of HB99.

NOTE: This class is a required review and demonstration of topics and skills previously covered in FASTER Level 1. Attendees should arrive ready to demonstrate skill and knowledge levels appropriate for a FASTER Level 1 graduate.

  • Eye and hearing protection
  • Reliable 9mm auto loader:  For example Glocks and Smith & Wesson M & P’s with three magazines.
  • Strong side hip holster and mag carrier: examples Comp-Tac or Blade-Tech (NO SERPAS)
  • Gun belt
  • At least 250 rounds of target ammunition
  • Clothes to match weather conditions
  • A brimmed hat to deflect fired cases.    Low neck line tops are not recommended…. fired cases are very hot!
  • Food and beverages (Working Lunch)
  • Notebook, pencil/pen
  • Attendees need to provide transportation to/from, meals while training, other comfort items
  • Training is rain/shine/snow/etc
  • No refunds (substitute attendees permitted)
