The country's 250th anniversary is celebrated with a major exhibit on this milestone year. From April to September, the exhibit is on display at Hearthside. Included is an exploration of the Revolution in founding our country, and the connections with RI, Hearthside and Great Road. A little known RI hero with ties to Hearthside is Silas Talbot. His story and those of his descendants are told through displays of artifacts, historic weaponry, artwork, informative panels, and special programs.
