An Introduction to Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in Behavioral Healthcare

LGBTQIA+ populations of all ages disproportionately experience more instances of mental health and substance use disorders, suicidality, and poor wellbeing outcomes compared to their heterosexual and cisgender peers. This three-part experience includes a basic training on sexual orientation and gender identity, access to up to 50 hours of 1:1 or group consultation with a licensed LGBTQIA+ clinician, and supplemental mini-trainings as needed to address special populations/topics.

Cancellation Policy: No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours of the event will be assessed a $50 fee to cover the loss of your seat, preparation time, materials and meals provided, and other various expenses. Cancellations are accepted up to two working days before the training. If less than 50% of registrants attend, the event may be cancelled or rescheduled. Cancellations should be sent to [email protected].
