David Mace, formerly of FocusPoint International, recently joined Lockton Affinity to

launch the crisis management and global casualty insurance practice, Latitude Risk.


As former EVP of Product for FocusPoint International (FPI), and with more than 18 years involvement in special risk underwriting, brokerage, and incident response, David brings unique insight to the special risk space due to his experience having executive roles in the crisis management value chain: carrier, service provider, and intermediary.


David received his International Politics & Economics (IPE) degree from Middlebury College in Vermont. His IPE work also involved study of Comparative Politics and Middle Eastern studies at the Paris Institut d’Études Politiques, “Sciences Po.” After working for Deloitte & Touche and the UN Development Program in Central America, Mr. Mace earned his International MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School for International Business in Arizona, where he earned Pi Sigma Alpha honors distinction for political science studies. He holds insurance licenses agent, surplus lines broker, re-insurance manager, and continuing education state-approved provider. David is also trilingual, speaking Spanish, English, and French.
