Salsa Workshop: Celebrating the Chihuahuan Desert

Learn to work with ingredients from the Chihuahuan Desert with James Beard nominated chef, Mateo Herrera. Join us for a hands-on salsa making class where we will use ingredients found in our desert landscape: Xoconochtli (sour prickly pear), nopal (cactus pads) and Camote de Cerro (wild yam – similar to jicama). This workshop will cover two salsas.
