Visitors will learn about the Guana Peninsula’s biodiversity, cultural history, and estuarine resources, along with efforts to protect them. Meet your guide at the GTM Research Reserve Trailhead Pavilion (west of the Guana Dam) by 8:50 a.m. The hike begins at 9:00 a.m. and covers less than 2.2 miles round trip on the Yellow Trail, lasting about two hours. Wear comfortable outdoor clothing and closed-toe shoes. Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, and binoculars or a camera if you wish.
