Meet the Trainers:

Emily Harris (She/Her)

Senior Training & Technical Assistance Manager, Wise



Emily Harris has had the good fortune of a lifelong personal connection to the disability community, which has profoundly shaped both her career and her unwavering passion for equitable employment. With over 16 years of professional experience, Emily has worn many hats—from Employment Consultant to Positive Behavior Support Consultant and Trainer. She has worked with individuals, families, employers, schools, and employment agencies across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Emily has also collaborated internationally with agencies in New Zealand, further broadening her global perspective. She believes that inclusion and full participation are not just goals, but essential truths. She is deeply committed to bringing these principles to life for everyone, with a strong belief that work is a key component of this journey.


Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Arts and Letters (with a focus on Women’s Studies and English) and is a Certified Employment Support Professional through APSE. She served for seven years on the National APSE Employment Support Professional Certification Council (ESPCC), where she worked at a national level to professionalize the field of supported employment and empower fellow professionals.


As a trainer, Emily is skilled in Person-Centered Planning, Discovery, graphic facilitation, video résumés and storytelling, Job Development, and Customized Employment. She is also passionate about networking for Employment Consultants, collaborating closely with community employers, and empowering siblings who play a unique peer support role within families.


At her core, Emily loves to connect with people. A natural networker, she believes that community connections are the key to unlocking meaningful employment opportunities. She thrives on helping people build these bridges, and her enthusiasm ensures her work continues to drive equitable employment opportunities to new heights.

Katherine Titus (She/Her)

Senior Training & Technical Assistance Manager, Wise



Katherine Titus has more than 25 years of experience working with individuals who are planning for work and full lives of thriving, opportunity, and joy. Katherine has worked with individuals, families, counties, the Developmental Disability Administration, DVR, employers, provider agencies, and schools to promote equity and empowerment in lives, opportunities, and employment for all. Some of her experience includes facilitating person-centered employment plans and working with service providers and individuals to transform services and expand person-centered, equitable employment practices. Additionally, she appreciates the opportunity to provide in-person and online training on person-centered plan facilitation, customized and supported employment practices, discovery, values and beliefs, and self-determination.


Katherine holds an MSW (Master of Social Work) degree, and her strengths include supporting individuals through system navigation, person-centered planning, and advocating side-by-side with other advocates. She believes in working with a high level of optimism, discipline, and energy in all areas of life.


Katherine believes that when we stay grounded in values and flexible in approach, we can be steadfast and determined in our work to dismantle systemic ableism and create true opportunity.
