| 2024 4-Session Reflective Supervision Consultation Training Series
CT-AIMH is offering a FREE Series of four training sessions, one in-person and three virtually (Zoom). This training is intended for Supervisors who are already providing or hope to provide Reflective Supervision to others. This training aims to transform the ways in which new and seasoned reflective supervisors/consultants support professionals to cultivate reflectivity and explore feelings and reactions in their work with pregnant women, infants, young children, and families.
We recommend that you attend all 4-sessions as each one builds upon the last. This series covers many of the lECMH-Endorsement® competencies in each of the 8 categories (i.e. Theoretical Foundations, Laws, Regulation, & Agency Policy, System Expertise, Direct Service Skills, Working with Others, Communicating, Thinking and Reflection) |

| Heather Bonitz Moore ATR-BC, LPC, IECMH-E® Heather is currently an Instructor in Clinical Child Counseling at Yale University Child Study Center where she is a Parent-Child Consultant for Family Based and part of the Senior Clinical Consultation and Training team for the Minding the Baby Program. Prior to joining YCSC Ms. Moore worked as the Director of Clinical Practice overseeing multiple in-home clinical models and outpatient treatment in an EQHC. Heather has supervised clinical and case management staff, provided in-home treatment and private practice outpatient psychotherapy focusing on trauma. Heather is a trained DC:0-5 trainer for CT-AIMH. Ms. Moore is also the Endorsement® Coordinator for CT-AIMH and facilitates Reflective Supervision/Consultation groups for CT-AIMH and other groups in CT. |

| Kim Shepardson Watson LCSW, IECMH-E® Kim has worked in several agencies and programs in Southeastern CT. Currently she is in private practice in East Lyme, CT. Though she works with a variety of people and their families, she also works with young children and their families, with a specialty in working with families post adoption. She is trained in the use of ADOS and primarily uses a relationship-based approach with all people. Kim has served on the Groton Board of Education and is currently a member of the CT-AIMH Board of Directors. Kim is active with CT-AIMH, serving on their DEI advisory committee. Kim provides reflective supervision/consultation to people in the early childhood field in CT, and throughout the country. Kim has had leadership roles at conferences sponsored by both CT-AIMH and the by the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health. Kim is a CT-AIMH Jane C. Bourns Award for Excellence recipient (one of her proudest accomplishments). Kim is a trained DC:0-5 trainer for CT-AIMH. Kim is also an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsed Clinical Mentor. |

| Carlita Elias PsyD, IMH-E® Dr. Carlita Elisa, PsyD is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Manchester, CT as well as an Assistant Professor of Psychology, Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology, at the University of Hartford. Carlita also serves as Vice President of the CT-AIMH Board of Directors. She has focused her career on the field of infant and early childhood mental health and has been a champion for infants, toddlers, young children and their families in Connecticut for many years. Carlita has previously worked as a clinician for Child First, a Head Start Mental Health Consultant, and program manager for a trauma informed therapeutic childcare program. Carlita is a registered facilitator for Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) and COSP-Classroom and is a certified FLIP IT trainer. Ms. Elias is also a registered provider of Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Carlita provides training and workshops on topics related to infant and early childhood mental health, addressing challenging behaviors in early childhood and incorporates and anti-racism and equity perspective in all aspects of her work. Carlita's professional interests include maternal mental health, infant and early childhood mental health, intergenerational trauma, attachment/relationship based therapeutic modalities, and reflective supervision. She holds a national Endorsement as a Level III Infant Mental Health Specialist and is a Reflective Supervisor. Carlita received her degree in psychology from the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology at the University of Hartford where she has been an adjunct instructor for Child Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, and Professional Practice Seminar. Dr. Elias lives in CT with her husband and three teenage Children.

| Anne Giordano MA, DSP, IMH-E® Anne specializes in working with infants, toddlers and families; and for more than twenty-five years has worked at EdAdvance (formerly Education Connection) the regional educational service center in western CT. Anne has served as manager of Part C Birth-3 and Early Head Start programs, before moving into the role of Early Childhood Specialist. She has also coordinated numerous state and federal grants addressing the needs of young children experiencing homelessness. Additionally, for seven years Anne served in the capacity of coordinator of the Region 5, MDE-Foster Care Clinic through Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Anne’s role as Training Coordinator with CT Association for Infant Mental Health includes developing, coordinating, and presenting statewide training in infant mental health for child welfare staff, early care and community providers and home visitors; and facilitating group Reflective Supervision. Anne is endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Clinical Mentor through the CT Association for Infant Mental Health; and presents frequently at local, state, and national conferences on issues related to infant toddler mental health and development. |

| Dana Hillman-Sabato LPC, RPT-S, IMH-E® Dana Hillman-Sabato is a Licensed Professional Counselor and serves as the Child First Connecticut Senior Clinical Lead at the National Service Office for Nurse-Family Partnership and Child First. Dana has over thirteen years' experience in children's behavioral health and specializes in trauma, attachment, and relationship-based interventions such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Dana is Endorsed but the Connecticut Association for Infant Mental Health (CT-AIMH) as an Infant Mental Health Mentor-Clinical and is also a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor through the Association for Play Therapy. Dana is passionate about the use of play and expressive arts to build meaningful, therapeutic relationships and is a trained PeaceLove CREATOR and Life is Good Playmaker. |

| Margaret O'Connell MSEd, LCSW, IMH-E® Margaret began her journey as a NYC Teacher. She has over twenty years of experience working with children with Special Needs, their families, and Caregivers. She has worked in public and private school settings, Head Start, Trauma Informed Childcare and Home Visiting with Birth to Three. Currently she works in a Private Practice serving with Families and children. She leads a Reflective Supervision Consultation group and supports CTAIMH Trainings for DCF Clinicians and Childcare Providers.

| Jolie Garfinkel BA, MA, IMH-E® Jolie A. Garfinkel works with EdAdvance as an Early Childhood Specialist. Her experience is in supporting Parents, Educators and Community leaders with the skills they need to guide children toward success. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Child Study from Saint Joseph College and her Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education/Special Education from the University of Saint Joseph – both in West Hartford, CT. After fifteen years career as an Early Childhood Educator, Mrs. Garfinkel decided to leave the classroom and became a Parent Educator. Her career transition derived from a passion to support, guide and educate Parents about the importance of their engagement with their children’s education. Four years later she became an Early Childhood Specialist where she is currently supporting Early Childhood Educators as she believes today’s challenges require the efforts of a group committed to work towards a common goal, the children’s success. In addition to supporting Early Childhood Educators Mrs. Garfinkel is a member of a group of Technical Supporters working with delivering Trainings and Coaching to Early Childhood Programs. She also has become member of a consultation group supporting Family Childcare Providers in the local area, Mrs. Garfinkel is Endorsed by CT Association of Infant Mental Health as Infant Family Early Childhood Specialist. She has also conducted a series of professional development – in Spanish – in collaboration with the CT Association of Infant Mental Health (CT-AIMH) around the State of CT. Most recently she has applied for Endorsement in Infant/Early Childhood Family Reflective Supervisor and, is a Coach Leader of the CT Pyramid Model Implementation Initiative to launch on March 2023. Mrs. Garfinkel is certified as a Mandated Reporter by the State of Connecticut, Department of Children and Families; Model Certified by Parents as Teachers; Registered Circle of Security Facilitator by the National Association of Social Workers; Designated Head Teacher for Childcare Center by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health; Certified as an Early Childhood Education. She has a Certificate in Early Education Leadership (CEEL) from Harvard Graduate School of Education. As a native of Venezuela, she is fluent in the Spanish language with an excellent understanding of the Hispanic culture. Her personal experience and native background provide her with a very powerful connection and understanding of the Hispanic population; especially as it relates to the students, families, and communities. When Mrs. Garfinkel is not working together with Parents, Educators and Children she spends time reading non-fiction novels with subjects focusing on world cultures, enjoys acrylic and oil painting, and traveling and exploring international cuisine.
