DESCRIPTION:I will be demonstrating carving a kingfisher. Students follow along by carving their own kingfisher. I’ve selected this image to carve because it includes different techniques and textures. If more advanced students prefer to bring a project\, I am happy to consult with them on techniques unique to their projects. Students need a set of 6 gouges of various sizes and shapes (recommendations will be sent before the class) mallet & 2 clamps.
