24 September 2026 DPAAS Meeting

We are very pleased to announce a Workshop on Hypersonics Science, Technology, and Applications, chaired by Dr. José A. Camberos, AFIT/ENY, on September 24th (Thursday), 0830-1630, Presidential Drive, Hilton DoubleTree, Fairborn, Ohio. Chatham House Rule applies.

Abstract: Professional activity, with an organized group (chair & members) for the purpose of assessing/communicating state-of-the-art and strategic directions for hypersonic science & technology with tactical action items (preparatory for FY27 Budget and beyond; POTUS Budget Request for FY28).

1200 – 1300 Lunch included with registration, buffet style, open doors

Afternoon Part II ~ 30-45 min

1300 – 1345 Flight Dynamics – Stability & Control (Camberos)

1345 – 1415 Computational Fluid Dynamics for Hypersonic Flow (Redmond)

Break ~ 15 min

1430 – 1515 Aerodynamic Ground Testing Requirements – Facilities (Redmond)

1515 – 1600 Model-Based Systems Engineering for Conceptual Analysis & Design (Atchison/Camberos)

1600 – 1630 Q&A, Discussion, and Action Items

Please note that participation in DPAAS is limited to representatives of the United States Government and U.S. Defense Contractors. All representatives must be Citizens of the United States only.


DPAAS technical presentations may count toward Acquisition Continuous Learning (CL) Points – please check with your supervisor!
