Celebration of Stories: Choose Hope

Join us for a night out with our co-founders Kurt Ver Beek and Jo Ann Van Engen at Bright Spark Brewing on February 23rd. We will reflect on stories about choosing hope that center Honduran voices and raise support for ASJ's work of justice-seeking. Come ready to be inspired and build community, your generosity fuels our ability to have an impact in Honduras and beyond.

COVID-19 Considerations:

At this time, masks are not required to attend this event. However, to ensure a healthy and safe space for everyone, we are requiring that staff and guests stay home if they have any symptoms associated with COVID-19. Additionally, if you have been recently diagnosed with COVID-19, or recently had direct contact with an individual diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19, please ensure you have a negative COVID test or stay home from the event. We will refund tickets for any guests that have to cancel for COVID-related reasons. Masks, hand sanitizer, and spaces to sit or stand at a distance from others will be available. Our entire staff is vaccinated, and will not be present if exposed to COVID-19 or experiencing any symptoms. We encourage you to review the latest CDC guidelines on when to quarantine here. About ASJ

Your donation goes towards furthering the mission of ASJ in Honduras, and we are so grateful for it! Years ago, a team of North Americans and Honduras found that they shared a collective vision of justice for the oppressed. After years of working in development, they realized their efforts were not enough because the systems of government did not respect the needs and rights of everyone. We had one question: how can the systems of health, education, and security transform to support a country where everyone can flourish and experience justice? We knew this journey would be costly and full of challenges, but out of our Christian faith, we found the call to “do justice” and be brave in seeking belonging for all. This work requires action from partners across the country. Join us for this event to learn more and raise support for the work in Honduras.
