One Big Beautiful Bill Act Conversation Jamie Brown, CPA from CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) will be in person to discuss the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) and its effects on the construction industry. Signed into law on July 4, 2025, OBBBA introduces transformative tax provisions that directly impact construction businesses and their customers—from 100% bonus depreciation on equipment and production structures to expanded exemptions for residential construction contracts. These changes not only offer immediate financial incentives but also reshape long-term planning strategies, especially around income recognition, interest deductions, and research expenditures. The presentation will unpack how these provisions can be leveraged to optimize tax outcomes, improve cash flow, and enhance competitiveness in a tightening labor and supply market. This conversation will be especially pertinent for business owners, CFOs, Controllers and construction industry leaders, although there are opportunities for everyone.
ACE Mentor Program The ACE Mentor Program of America is a nationwide, no-cost after-school initiative designed to inspire high school students to explore careers in architecture, construction, and engineering. The program connects students with industry professionals who serve as mentors, guiding them through hands-on projects, site visits, and design challenges. ACE focuses on engaging students from underrepresented communities and provides continued support through scholarships, internships, and career development opportunities. By fostering collaboration and inclusion, ACE aims to build a diverse and well-prepared workforce for the future of the built environment.
