The WRS Introductory Course ( 3 days ) provides an overview of the Wilson Reading System 4th edition curriculum and serves as a prerequisite for WRS Level I Certification. This course presents teachers with knowledge and skills necessary to address the five critical components of literacy: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. While attending this course, you will participate in hands-on activities utilizing WRS research-based, multisensory strategies to maximize the learning of students who require intensive structured literacy instruction. |
