New Lawyer Boot Camp - December 12, 2025

This is a full-day learning experience targeted at new lawyers or those in their early years of practice. The program is offered FREE for those who have been members of CDLA for 3 years or less and yes, this is live and in person! For that reason, we are limiting the participants to 30 on a first-come/first-serve basis.

Tentative Schedule

  • 8:15 – 8:45 a.m.: Arrival & Welcomes (breakfast provided)
  • 8:45 – 9:45 a.m.: Case Analysis & Responding to/Drafting Pleadings
  • 9:45 – 10:00 a.m.: Break
  • 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.: Writing Presentation – Justice Richard Gabriel, Colorado Supreme Court
  • 11:30 a.m. – Noon: Lunch (provided)
  • Noon – 1:00 p.m.: Courtroom Etiquette – Judge Sarah Wallace, Denver District Court
  • 1:00 – 1:15 p.m.: Break
  • 1:15 – 2:00 p.m.: Client Communication – Chris Unger
  • 2:00 – 2:30 p.m.: Time Management & Billing
  • 2:30 – 2:45 p.m.: Break
  • 2:45 – 3:45 p.m.: Written Discovery & Deposition Tips (Ethics/Professionalism Focus)
  • 3:45 – 4:00 p.m.: Happy Hour Begins
  • 4:00 – 4:30 p.m.: Young Attorney Q&A Panel – Panel Members
  • 4:30 – 5:00 p.m.: Closing & Farewells
