We are excited to introduce Future Pathways, a new virtual, intensive 13-week training program designed by the Autism Society Inland Empire and Daivergent to empower adults in the Regional Center system in their career journeys.
This program runs Monday to Friday from 1 - 3 pm - March 10, 2025 to June 17, 2025
Our online training program pairs adults with vocational specialists to provide job exploration and skill development to help adults identify and achieve their career goals. Key Features:
Career Exploration: Vocational Specialists will help you explore various career options
Learn soft and hard skills needed for today's workforce
Personalized Career Planning: Develop a person-centered career plan and create customized resumes.
Job Search Assistance: Help you identify potential jobs and receive assistance in applying.
Additional Support: If you need extra help, we can connect you with the Integrated Resource Institute, which will provide you with ongoing support after the training program.
Our ideal participants will be:
Regional Center clients who have graduated high school or have their certificate of completion. Must live in the following counties: Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and Los Angeles counties.
Clients who are eager and committed to finding part-time or full-time employment.
Individuals who can consistently attend daily virtual sessions from 1-3 pm, Monday to Friday, showing reliability and dedication to the program. You must attend at least 80% of the classes.
Clients are open to developing communication, teamwork, and computer skills relevant to their chosen career path.
Basic working knowledge of saving and naming files, Internet navigation, emails, typing skills, etc.
Can follow directions presented orally and in writing and stay focused for a two-hour class.
The ability to receive and incorporate feedback, try new programs and methods, and work on non-preferred tasks.

You MUST notify your caseworker that you are interested in participating in this program and send them a copy of your application. The Vendor Code: PJ 5144. Training and the cost is $15,000 per person for this 13-week program. If approved by the Regional Center, 100% will be paid by them.
Your Regional Center caseworker will decide if they want to approve and then complete the authorization process.
Autism Society Inland Empire will notify you by March 3rd or before, once we receive the authorization from Regional Center.
