ORIENTATION (7/8) - All interested participants must attend the orientation in order to qualify for the program. We will review class curriculum, questions and office hours.
INTRO TO THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY / BUSINESS 101 (7/15) - This class will provide an introduction to the beauty industry and customer landscape. This is a refresher for those who need to ensure they are ready to take next steps for their business.
BRANDING + PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (7/22) - Learn how to build a compelling brand identity, product line, and formula list to stand out and elevate your presence in the competitive beauty market.
MARKETING SALES & STRATEGIES (7/29) - Using branding tools from Week 3, develop a marketing timeline and strategies to get your beauty line “in-the-know” to the general public.
DISTRIBUTION / RETAIL (8/5) - Learn the essential steps to navigate wholesale protocols, distribution policies, and the transition from the studio to the retail space.
LEGAL & REGULARTORY CONSIDERATIONS (8/12) - Understand licensing, copyrighting, and other legal procedures to protect yourself and your brand from tentative legal issues and obstacles.
MENTOR MEETS (8/19) - This week is dedicated to office hours and 1:1 questions for mentors to help with participants with their pitch decks.
CLASS GRADUATION / BEAUTY PITCH (8/26) - It’s pitch week! This week participants will be able to pitch their lines in person to mentors / buyers for a chance to be entered into the Grand Pitch Competition |
