Yoga at the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs (IIHA) is an all-levels yoga class designed to teach participants about stretching, relaxation poses, and how to use these skills on/off the mat. This workout teaches participants how to regain control of their breathing, trust themselves, create a safe space, and how to cope with a stressful event. The purposes of hosting at the IIHA are to provide a free, community event that benefits the mind and body of the attendees while also giving them tools to take with them into the service field or in life. |
