The theme for our October Fourth Friday tasting is foods and wines of Tuscany, one of the great regions of the world and a favorite among our members. Tuscany's acclaim stems from its exceptional Sangiovese-based wines and rustic, ingredient-driven cuisine. The noble Chianti Classico and Brunello di Montalcino offer bold cherry notes, firm tannins, and earthy complexity, while coastal Bolgheri produces elegant Bordeaux-style blends (Super Tuscans.)
