Why We Celebrate Oct. 21 is Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day! Every year on the third Wednesday in October, we celebrate the strong individuals who have undergone breast reconstruction surgery. Our Tissue Systems Optimization teams as well as our generous tissue donors play a role in the healing that can happen through post-mastectomy reconstruction surgeries. |
