We know that health care discussions with friends, family members and medical teams can be difficult, often confusing and frustrating. A "listening session" is a gathering where participants are invited to share their thoughts, experiences, and perspectives on a particular topic, with the primary focus being on actively listening to what individuals have to say, rather than presenting arguments or opinions; it's essentially a forum for collecting feedback and understanding different viewpoints. During our time together, we will discuss access to services, information about palliative care services, and challenges families face surrounding complex and serious illness of a loved one. |
