Living with Complex and Serious Illness in Washington County

A collaboration made possible by

The Connection Initiative, the Community Caring Collaborative and

the Maine Hospice Council

May 15th 10:30AM—1:30PM

University of Maine Machias

Lunch Provided

We know that health care discussions with friends, family members and medical teams can be difficult, often confusing and frustrating.

A "listening session" is a gathering where participants are invited to share their thoughts, experiences, and perspectives on a particular topic, with the primary    focus being on actively listening to what  individuals have to say, rather than presenting arguments or    opinions; it's essentially a forum for collecting feedback and understanding different viewpoints.

During our time together, we will discuss access to services, information about palliative care services, and challenges families face surrounding complex and serious illness of a loved one.

All are welcome. We ask that you

register so we know attendance

numbers for set up

and food prep.
