As the Copyright Act of 1976 reaches its 50th anniversary, this symposium focuses on the future of that Act. Leading copyright scholars will meet at GW Law to present and comment on 14 papers. The symposium will also feature a moderated discussion on the 1976 Act and its future featuring Jane Ginsburg, Paul Goldstein, Jessica Litman, and Pam Samuelson. The papers and commentary will be published in the Journal of the Copyright Society, which is a co-sponsor of this symposium.
