Join SN-ICC on May 7th as we recognize Building Safety Month 2026: Built to Last with a timely and important presentation from Marcus Johnson, CBO, Director of Southern California Operations and SAP Evaluator with 4LEAF.

Marcus will present Inspection Failures That Led to Structural Disasters, a compelling session exploring real-world case studies involving deck collapses and other major structural failures. Attendees will take a closer look at missed warning signs, breakdowns in the inspection and review process, and the lessons inspectors and plans examiners can carry into their daily work.

About the Presenter

Marcus Johnson, CBO is Director of Southern California Operations and a SAP Evaluator with 4LEAF. With more than 18 years of experience, he works closely with clients in Building & Safety, Engineering, Code Enforcement, Planning, Construction Management and Plan Check. He manages numerous Building Department clients and is responsible for recruiting, qualifying and placing staff throughout the organization.
