Amber Young, LMHC


Amber Young is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and cross-sector strategist who partners with clinicians, leaders, and communities to strengthen mental health systems, empower neurodivergent professionals, and advance evidence-informed care. Combining extensive clinical expertise with lived experience, she designs practical solutions, provides guidance for organizational initiatives, and fosters systemic change.

Amber specializes in OCD, anxiety, and neurodivergence, delivering clinical care, consultation, and professional education. She has developed and implemented programs that integrate trauma-informed approaches, evidence-based interventions, and innovative strategies for clinician well-being. Her work spans individual, team, and organizational levels, helping to optimize outcomes while promoting equity, inclusion, and sustainable systems.


Content Area: Beginner / Intermediate: Information that builds on knowledge practitioners with some experience already have. This course focuses on skill-building or adding knowledge, following a brief overview of basic information, and involves using information in concrete situations and understanding the underlying structure of the material.


Course Interaction & System Requirements: This live webinar presentation is interactive. Attendees & presenters may ask and answer questions throughout the presentation and participate in instructor-led discussions.

Course Completion and CE Information:

To earn CE credit, participants must be on time, sign in and sign out, attend the entire course and complete a course evaluation. This is a 2 hour course. Partial credit is not permitted. Must be present the full 2 hour to receive CE certificate. Certificates of completion will be emailed within 2 business days of course completion.


CE Statements:

Summit BHC, provider #2057, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 07/31/2025 - 07/31/2028. Social workers completing this course receive 2 clinical continuing education credit.


Summit BHC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7161. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Summit BHC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.



Registration Deadline: Registration will remain open until 5:00 ET on the day prior to the start of the training. In the event the training reaches capacity prior to that day/time, registration will close automatically.


CANCELATION NOTICE FOR PAID REGISTRATIONS: Cancelations are eligible for full refund if cancelation notice is given in writing (via email) 3 days prior to the event date. Refunds are not available for cancelations made within 3 days prior to the event date - registration fee is eligible for transfer to selected other offered training by this organization.
