Do you find yourself stuck in endless meetings that go in circles, waste your time, and leave you feeling tired and frustrated? You are not alone. Bad meetings are widely cited as one of the biggest “pain points” employees face at work. A recent survey of over 5,000 workers shows that meetings are ineffective over 72% of the time; yet few managers ever take the time to learn the basic principles of good meeting design. By implementing a few changes to the way you plan and structure meetings, you can help your team regain immense amounts of wasted time and energy. This workshop is for anyone who wants to dramatically uplevel their meetings to be more efficient and effective.

We are excited for this presentation by Maureen White of Maureen White Consulting. Maureen White is a consultant, coach, and facilitator based in Boston. For over twenty years she has worked with and for nonprofits, campaigns, community groups, and social movements. She helps nonprofit teams gain clarity about where they are and where they want to go, and facilitates the development of strategies to get there. She also has a long-term commitment to racial justice and to helping groups to see their work through an equity lens. Maureen holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and Public Policy from Boston University, a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of Southern Florida, and is an affiliate consultant at the Interaction Institute for Social Change.
