| Spring Surge is Serotonin Surge Charities' 2024 fundraiser for safety net medical care in the Greater Sacramento region. We are proud to partner with the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society to produce this event which will take place at Cafeteria 15L in Sacramento on the evening of Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Guests will be treated to fine wines, delicious food, entertainment, and the good company of people who believe that all members of our communities should have access to high quality compassionate medical care, regardless of their circumstances.
To date, we have been able to raise over $4 million for a network of clinics and programs that provide one million patient care visits per year. Your support will allow us to continue supporting more than a dozen deserving organizations, including:
- UC Davis affiliated student run free clinics (Paul Hom Asian Clinic including VN CARES, HLUB, and Nadezhda Clinic; Clinica Tepati including Knights Landing; Imani Clinic including RIVER Clinic; Joan Viteri Memorial Clinic including Gender Health Clinic; Willow Clinic; and Bayanihan Clinic)
- CommuniCare
- Sacramento Loaves & Fishes
- Peach Tree Health
- SSVMS SPIRIT
- WellSpace Health
- Health & Life Organization (HALO)
- Elica Health Centers
- And scholarships for medical students from the UC Davis School of Medicine and the California Northstate University College of Medicine who volunteer to manage and work at free clinics.
