Identifying and Addressing Suicide

Suicide is an emotional, overwhelming, and most times scary topic to discuss with anyone, let alone a child.

You may be worried about what to do, what to say, and whether your efforts are actually helping. It can also feel overwhelming to figure out how to address the situation, what responses are helpful, and where to find support and resources. Suicidal ideation and suicide attempts are serious and should never be taken lightly — especially when a life may be at risk.
