Students begin by creating a 4”×4” stained-glass sample to learn cutting, grinding, and wrapping techniques. We the move to designing a larger piece using transparent & opaque glass. We cover design principles, sketch ideas, and draw inspiration from artist examples. After demonstrations in glass cutting and soldering, students build their projects. Designs can be abstract, include metal elements, or use images between glass. All materials are provided. Each student will complete a finished piece in two days.
