About American Freedom Foundation (AFF) In return for their service and sacrifices made for our country, the American Freedom Foundation, founded in 2004, believes Veterans, military service members, and their families are deserving of support that empowers and enables them to lead confident and productive lives. AFF serves and supports them by creating awareness and building support for their service, sacrifice, and needs through partnerships with military-focused organizations and always will be relentlessly driven to bettering the lives of these heroes and their families. Throughout its short history, the American Freedom Foundation has made grants of approximately $1.2 million to more than 30 military organizations and awarded over 1,200 full and partial scholarships to military spouses and their dependents in 50 states and 8 countries through the AFF/Purdue Global Military Scholarship program valued in excess of $9.2 million. Through the AFF national Veteran’s employment initiative program, Your Next Mission®, thousands of Veterans have been connected to hundreds of participating companies for employment opportunities. 2026 AUSA Global Force Symposium The AUSA Global Force Symposium will explore the capabilities outlined in the Army’s Modernization Strategy to drive transformational change. Special guest presentations, coupled with panel discussions from our senior military and industry leaders, will address critical points of research and development, acquisition and contracting, force sustainment, strategic divestiture, and industry partnerships. For the Army, this means greater synergy with industry partners to ensure a modernized defense industrial base and an Army capable of conducting MDO. The Army must continue to streamline its acquisition processes, and continue to invest in the modernization of facilities and infrastructure, training, and skill sets required across the AME, with an eye towards the future, to maintain overmatch for great power competition. With support from the Army Materiel Command, the Army Futures Command, alongside the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) and other Army Commands, this three-day event highlights how the Total Army will modernize and transform into a multi-domain capable force.
