About the Instructor: Jane Burleigh is a textile artist, educator, and former marine canvas worker based in Bellingham, WA. After eight years in production sewing, she’s developed a thoughtful approach to tools and workflow. She believes that simple, well-chosen setups make the creative process more enjoyable. Raised around vintage textiles by her quilter mother, she holds a deep respect for domestic craft. She’s currently expanding her skills in weaving, natural dyeing, and regenerative farming, with the goal of one day growing many of her own materials. Jane teaches workshops that invite people to connect with the long lineage of textile craft while making something beautiful and useful. Enjoy free admission to the QFA Museum on the day of your workshop! The Museum is open 11am-5pm, Wed-Sun. Members always have free admission!
