Basic Mediation Training

Groundswell offers a very 'hands on' mediation training, with interactive activities and live mediation coaching throughout.

This training will be offered completely online. It consists of 6 training sessions held online on Zoom, and a total of ~8 hours of assigned independent work for a total of 32 hours.

Attendance and Activities are required. If participants miss a training session or do not complete their assigned activities they will not be eligible to receive the certification at the end of the training.

TRAINING MANUAL

We send out important links and a 250 page digital training manual around 1 week before the training.

This training is designed to be easy to complete with the digital manual. Each activity will include any components required to complete it (videos, links, or the section of the manual if it is required for reading.) Many of the assigned activities have an option of watching a video instead of reading the section of the manual. We provide these different options to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.

Limited Space: Registration will close once the class limit has been reached. Register early to ensure your spot. Registration closes Sunday, April 28^th.

Pricing: Regular pricing for this training is $775.00. Please register early to receive a $50 discount! Discounts are automatically applied for early registration (by April 7, 2024)

Cancellation: Once registered, any requests for cancelation of registration must be received in writing 14 days prior to the start of the training and are subject to a $50 processing fee. There will be no refund issued for cancelations received after April 7).

II. GUIDED LEARNING ACTIVITIES (8 HOURS)

Readings, reflections and activities are assigned to be completed by trainees on their own time before each of the Zoom sessions.

8 hours of asynchronous learning on Google Classroom before and in-between live sessions helps ensure that live Zoom sessions are interactive and focused on developing and practicing skills. Full syllabus can be found below.
